I've been carving egg shells for over 25 years and have sold and shipped eggs all over the world. I use to do Fine Art and Craft shows, all along the East Coast, for many years and had my EggArt Gallery, in Fredericksburg, VA, for 5 years. I finally realized I took an early retirement back in 95 so I closed the Gallery, stopped doing shows and decided to take life a little easier. RIGHT!!!!! 

I found out right away that my love for carving eggs will never diminish and being retired just meant having more time to carve. Since I wasn't doing any shows, I soon had more carved eggs in stock then I ever had. That is good news for you since I am lowering all my prices, most 40 to 50%, to get some room in my showroom.

Being retired, I have more time to devote to my Egg Shell Carving and Sculpting Classes and they are all One-On-One. They are three days long and are held here at my shop and show room in Spotsylvania, VA-right at beautiful Lake Anna. If you ever wanted to try your hand at a fascinating Art, this just might be for you. The class covers all aspects of Carving and Sculpting all types of eggs and my goal is always to get you doing your own technique-not mine. I learned, many years ago, that there are many different ways and techniques you can do to get the same, maybe even better results, I strive to bring that out in all my students. The Spotsylvania, Lake Anna and Fredericksburg region is a fabulous vacation spot for the whole family and I usually can schedule your class for any three days you want. Do you carve? I have added a Special Patterns Page for carving and they are suitable for both eggs, scroll saw, etc. All the Patterns are FREE but you need to contact me to receive the URL and password. Joining the Free Password Club also has other benefits, the main one being Special Deep Discounts on Supplies, like stands, hangers, glass domes, light boxes and more. These prices are only available to members of the Free Pattern Club.

All the Patterns are done by me and I am constantly working on new ones which will be posted as they are finished.

The patterns are done in my style of carving and range from simple to the more complex. Most are suited for all types of eggs but some will require slight changes, like eliminating or cutting above or below a line, when carved into goose eggs. Also, I am willing to do Special Requests so let me know what you would like to see.

All Patterns on my site are Free but they are also copyrighted and are for Personal Use Only. That means you can use them for your work but the Pattern can not be sold or distributed. They can be used on eggs you plan to sell but you must get Written Permission from me if you plan to do so. Contact me for instructions on how to do that. Sorry but I have closed the Free Pattern Site. Too many folks who accessed it were just passing patterns or the log-on information to their friends. It's a shame a few ruin it for so many others. You can still contact me for any pattern you might need and I'll let you know if I have it or can do it.

Monthly Egg Raffle To Benefit Doberman Rescue of the Triad

The Rescue Group who saved Takoda and brought him into our lives is facing some serious financial problems. Like many others, their donations are down but more and more dogs need rescuing. I am Raffling off an egg every month to help raise funds for them and here's your chance to win a carved egg for nothing. That's right, for nothing.
