These are some of the carved duck and goose eggs I have in my collection but other
designs are available and I will do custom work. If you don't see what you want here,
e-mail me and let me know what you are looking for. Chances are I've already done one like it or I might even have one in stock. If not,I'll lay one out for you and send you
a copy with the price. The eggs can be ordered set up for either a stand or hanger and
a lot of folks use the hanger style eggs on their Christmas tree. Any light hitting the egg will really make the carved areas stand out. There are two different styles of carving that I do-one where I remove the areas that will represent the scene ( much like
a stencil ) and the other where I leave that area and remove sections around it. All the eggs are priced according to the amount of time it takes to cut each pattern and the size of the egg doesn't matter. All the eggs on this page are goose.

The above eggs really look great on a lightbox which makes the cutout areas stand out. Boxes I sell take a 7 watt Christmas tree bulb which allows you to change colors whenever you want.

The hummingbird and iris are examples of the first style of eggs I cut. They are similar to a stencil and some of the design ideas were gotten from stencils. The back of the egg is left whole so any light hitting the egg is reflected through the cut-out areas and really makes those sections stand out.
